If an old Android app needs to meet current Google Play requirements, the difficult part is rarely just changing one SDK number. The real cost depends on whether the source project still builds, how old its tooling and dependencies are, and whether code or native libraries need migration.
Creator Quest Studio uses fixed prices
The initial APK/AAB assessment is free. After the technical assessment, supported work is offered in one of two fixed tiers:
- Standard repair — €399
- Advanced repair — €749
If the project is too uncertain, incomplete or complex to complete safely within one of those tiers, the job is declined. We do not invent a higher custom price after you submit the app.
What normally fits a Standard repair?
A Standard repair is intended for a project where the source is complete and the migration is controlled: for example, a reasonably maintained project that needs current Android SDK/build configuration, compatible dependency updates, a new release versionCode and normal validation without major code reconstruction.
What can make a repair Advanced?
Advanced work is more likely when the source is older or broken, build tooling needs a larger migration, dependencies are obsolete, Android 16 behaviour changes require code changes, native libraries need deeper compatibility work, or several release blockers must be solved together.
Why an APK alone cannot determine the tier
A compiled APK or AAB can reveal package identity, versioning, API levels and the presence of native libraries. It cannot prove whether the Gradle build is healthy, whether dependencies still resolve or how much source-level migration is needed.

When do you pay?
The service follows a result-before-payment flow. Once a fixed scope is accepted, the repair is completed and the verified technical result is prepared before the payment request unlocks final secure delivery.
What is not promised?
No service can truthfully guarantee Google Play approval because Play evaluates requirements beyond one technical repair. The fixed scope describes the measurable technical work we agree to complete.
Why fixed pricing?
Fixed pricing makes the decision simple: you know the service tier before work begins, and a job that does not fit safely is declined rather than allowed to become an open-ended hourly project.
